  • Don’t fall for “health halo” foods — packaged snacks are often just ultra-processed sugar and seed oils in disguise. And almost always “a bag of lies.”

  • Avoid going too low-calorie or fat — this disrupts hormones

  • Preview the menu ahead of time

  • Focus on a protein and veggie-based meal

  • Ask if food is cooked in seed oils (and request alternatives)

  • Bring your own olive oil if needed- this is one of my favorites.

  • Say no to the bread or chip basket

  • Order sparkling water with lemon or lime
